Call of Duty teases a crossover with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Call of Duty is not afraid to team up with iconic TV shows and movies. Activision’s shooter has been partnered with John McClane, John Rambo, and the immensely popular Attack on Titan anime in recent years.

Activision has begun to tease more updates to battle royale multiplayer and Modern Warfare 2 for Warzone 2.

A cryptic tweet posted by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT), suggests that they are headed to battle against a familiar foe.

While Shredder is the only confirmed character in the world of TNMT, many fans hope Leonardo, Donatello, and Michelangelo will also be making their way into Warzone 2 or Modern Warfare 2. Some in the community are questioning Activision’s decision to partner with the turtles. One fan asks, “Out of all possible collabs why Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?”

It’s possible that the crossover will coincide with the release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mutant Mayhem. The first teaser trailer for the film was released on March 7th, just before it’s the release date of August 4.
