Final Fantasy XIV: Eorzea Academy Manga Gets An English Release

Did you know there was a Final Fantasy XIV manga? It’s kind of. In 2021, the FFXIV team announced Shiritsu Eorzea Gakuen (Si Li EoruzeaXueYan, lit.

Private Eorzea Academy) during a Live Letter. Esora Amaichi created the spin-off manga and transposed the MMORPG’s supporting cast into a new school setting.

The comedy manga ran on Square Enix’s Manga Up! The platform has been in operation since December 2021 and ended in December last year.

It finally has a Western release. Square Enix Manga has announced the English translation of the first volume. Final Fantasy XIV is now the official English title.

Alisaie is a high-school student at Eorzea Academy. This exclusive institution was created through the merger of two rival schools, the Academy of Light & the Academy of Darkness.

Although all students now wear the same uniforms, there is still a bitter divide between the Class of Light (and the Class of Darkness).

Concerned about the conflict that continues, Tataru, the headmistress, decides it is time to find bold solutions to improve morale. The synopsis for the series states, “Let the school games start!”

The first volume will be $14.99 and is scheduled to release on September 19, 2023. The first volume should be the last since the Japanese physical volume was published in February as a single book.
